The ARC collection 3D paper models, presented in the left column, are a carefully detailed work of a group of architects who were motivated by their appreciation of the architecture of the buildings that they chose to conceptualize as cutout models. We are grateful to Héritage Montréal, for the positive encouragement and the follow up throughout this project.
HÉRITAGE MONTRÉAL is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of Montréal's urban, architectural, landscape and social heritage. The ARC collection could not become a reality without the support of the Ministry of culture of Québec, patrimonial section. Cultural services of the city of Montréal, also, demonstrated a special interest in bringing this project to reality.

Each model contains the paper pieces that need to be cut out and assembled, complete assembly instructions, legend, and historic information about each building. All texts are in English and French. Unlike any other collection of its type, our books include 3 or 4 full pages of pictures that demonstrate a step-by-step assembly sequence. These pictures, like the ones presented to the left, make the assembly process easy and virtually mistake-free.

La collection ARC-maquettes en papier est un ouvrage d’un group d’architectes qui ont fait un travail minutieux poussé par l’appréciation de l’architecture des bâtiments qu’ils ont choisi de concevoir en maquette. Cela a pu être réalisé grâce aux encouragements et au suivi pendant la réalisation d’Héritage Montréal.
HÉRITAGE MONTRÉAL est un organisme indépendant à but non-lucratif oeuvrant à la promotion et à la protection du patrimoine architectural, paysager et social des quartiers montréalais et des communautés de la métropole de Montréal. La collection ne pouvait pas exister sans l’appui du programme de subvention du Ministère de la culture du Québec, direction du patrimoine. Le service de la culture de la ville de Montréal avait aussi démontré un intérêt particulier pour la réalisation de cette collection.

Our high quality color-printed collection of cards and books is finely detailed. Once built, they represent accurately the form and color of the appropriate buildings. Check a sample of our collection by clicking the picture below.

The collection is an ideal gift and very pleasant pastime for a hobbyist or lover of architecture. It is a good idea for family gathering time. It is best for children older than 10 years old and can be used for school projects. Once built, the model itself is a unique interior decoration object, specially for the Place d'Armes model.
