June 14:
* Father Antony along with our youth and their servants will be attending the Mid Atlantic Coptic Youth Convention from June 18-June 20. No Divine Liturgy service on Friday, June 19.
 
* On Wednesday, June 17, The Shawl of Abouna Abdel Mesheh El Menihry's will be in our church. Please plan to attend the liturgy and get the blessings from the shawl
 
 

May 6:
H.G. Bishop David will start his visit to Myrtle Beach tomorrow, May 7. He will lead the Vesper Prayer @ 7:00 PM and the Divine Liturgy on Friday May 8 @ 8:45AM. We will be commemorating the Martyrdom of our intercessor St. Mark the Apostle, so please plan to come and bring your family.

April 23
Fr. Barsoum Saad of St. Mary and St. Joseph Church in Alexandria, will join  Fr. Antony in the prayers of this week.  Fr. Barsoum is Ehab Mikhael's guest
Fr. Asheia Mikhail will be in Myrtle Beach from Wednesday April 29 and will leave on Monday May 4. During his stay, he will conduct a series of parenthood lectures. A detailed schedule of these lectures will be e-mailed next week.
Bishop David will bless us and come to visit our church to celebrate with us the commoration of  St. Mark on Friday May 8. Depends on his flight, he may be able to pray the vesper prayer on Thursday May 7.
Bishop Tadros made some changes to his schedule, He will now arrive Myrtle Beach on Friday May 29 instead of June 5. On this week we will also have Dr. Yousry Armanious. Stay tuned, soon I'll send another email with the schedule of that week along with the title of Dr. Yousry's lectures. He will conduct about 5 or 6 lectures ranging from how to choose your future spouse to how to deal with your teen.

Sundays: Divine Liturgy 8:45 am - 12:30 pm, Sunday school 12:30 pm, Servant meeting 2:00 pm
Wednesdays: Divine Liturgy from 9:00 - 11:00 am
Fridays: Divine Liturgy from 9:00 - 11:00 am

* Last month, Father Antony along with Mr. Kaldas visited Sheriff Thompson, Sheriff of Horry County. They introduced the Coptic Orthodox Church to him, and gave him a breif on the community services that we do during Christmas at the orphanage. Fr. Antony gave Sheriff Thompson some coptic gifts. Below is the thank you note that Fr. Antony received from the Sheiff.

* On Sunday March 1, 2009 after the Divine Liturgy, Dr. Mak Bishara, Risk Management & Financial Planning Consultant, will conduct a Tax Planning Seminar. This seminar is for Tax year of 2008. After the seminer he will open a questions and answers session.

February 13
*To the congregation of St. Mark Church of Myrtle Beach, Due to the repeated break in incidents at the church recently, the committee decided to install a security system to stop such activities. The security system has been installed today 02/13/2009, and is currently in operation. If you have old keys, please return them to Eng. Selim Wahba. You will not be able to use them anymore. On Sunday Fr. Antony will brief the congregation on how the security system operates. If you have to go to the church today or tomorrow, please contact Selim first. He can be reached at 843-503-1187. PLEASE DO NOT USE YOUR OLD KEYS.
